Themes of fear and rejection of the other, racism, isolation, fear of other sexual orientations, loneliness, and rejection of the mentally ill, were presented throughout the piece which lent itself the opportunity for lights to help shape and reshape the space for each of the unique sequences. The stark lighting created overall harsh worlds for each of the theme's sequences.
